Mobile UK signs up to Rural Services Network
Mobile UK has joined the Rural Services Network, a Special Interest Group of the Local Government Association, which works on behalf of its members as the national champion for rural services.
At a time when mobile connectivity is a crucial aspect of daily life, membership of the RSN will enable Mobile UK to engage with its members to hear the rural voice.
The Rural Services Network includes:
- 104 Local Authorities in Sparse Membership
- 17 Local Authorities in Rural Assembly Membership
- 213 Organisations across England as part of the Rural Services Partnership
- 155 Rural Market Towns and Larger Parishes
Gareth Elliott, Head of Policy and Communications at Mobile UK, said:
“Membership of the Rural Services Network will enable Mobile UK to engage with rural services to help assist with the long-term development of mobile services into rural communities. We look forward to engaging with the RSN’s membership."
