Mobile UK provides input into the Scottish Government’s Planning Advice questionnaire
Mobile UK has welcomed the opportunity to provide input iton the Scottish Government’s request for information that will inform a potential update of the Planning Advice Note 62 (PAN62).
Planning is essential as it provides the framework in which mobile infrastructure is built. The guidance that goes along with this framework assists in this process and should ensure that it is seamless and understandable. It should not be too complicated or onerous that it becomes a barrier in itself.
Commenting on the questionnaire, Hamish MacLeod, Director at Mobile UK, said:
“PAN62 needs updating to take into account changes in technology and reforms to the planning system. We welcome the opportunity to feed into this process. Connectivity is vital for all, and the planning process must work to enable the industry to build the infrastructure that underpins a connected modern Scotland.”
