Mobile UK gives evidence to EFRA Committee on rural broadband and digital services
On 12 June 2019 Hamish MacLeod, Director at Mobile UK, gave oral evidence to the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs Committee.
Mobile UK outlined current investment in mobile networks and recent updates on coverage where people live, work and travel. In addition, Hamish discusses current network proposals around a shared rural network which is currently being discussed between the Government and the industry.
Hamish MacLeod, Director at Mobile UK, said:
“Mobile UK welcomes the opportunity to provide evidence to the EFRA Committee and in particular to update members on recent industry investments and proposals we are engaging with government about extending and enhancing coverage.”
